Students Memorial Scholarship Fund at U of T

I am happy to announce that over $180,000 has been donated to the University of Toronto to honor the memory of those who lost their lives in the tragic shoot-down of flight #PS752. Taking into account the contribution from U of T, this means over $700,000 for the Iranian Students Memorial Scholarship Fund. This #scholarship will further honor the memory of our friends and colleagues by helping students from #Iran pursue their studies at U of T and supporting students of all backgrounds who are interested in exploring #Iranian studies.

Hearing all the kind words and seeing the support not only from U of T administration and leaders in the provincial and federal government but also academic leaders across the globe, I am so proud of myself to be a tiny part of our amazing community at U of T.
